Associate Counsellor, Confederation of Indian Industry-CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre (GBC)Cooling Council (GCC) is a thought leadership councilWorking on a decarbonization roadmap for the HVAC industry and the development of low-carbon cooling technologyWorking on developing a Startup Ecosystem that would contribute to low carbon cooling.I’m a PhD Research Scholar in Mechanical Engineering at Heat Pump Laboratory IIT Bombay, working on “Solar Micro Cold Store (SMCS) for Preservation of Agro-Produce”. Additionally, SMCS has a value addition facility such as an inbuilt Super-Heat Recovery Water Heater with built-in Thermal Storage for heating water up to 50 to 75oC in a single pass without recirculation, and no pump is used. A refrigerator is also integrated into the SMCS with a refrigerator cabinet storage temperature of 5 to 10oC and a freezer storage temperature of -10 to -15oC. I am interested in HVAC & R, Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy.
