ABOUT HARESH T.

I am urology Doctor in Department of Urology and Ichan School of medicine of Mount sinai health system,New York,USA and working on few research projects in basic science and clinical science.I completed my medical schooling and surgical residentship from famous Maharaja Sayajirao University,Vadodara with gold medal and university first candidate.I also passed my Diplomate in National Board DNB from New delhi on 2001I worked as a Assistant professor and surgeon at Pramukh swami medical College,karamsad and then at Government Med college,Surat.Due to immense interset in kidney diseases,I started working at world\'s largest kidney superspeciality hospital -Institute of kidney disease and Transplant sciences -IKDRC,Ahemdabad and got rich experience in surgical and medical care.After that,I joined world famous Muljibhai Patel Uorlogical hospital,Nadiad for super specialty DNB program me in genitourinary surgery and passed with flying colors and bright academic carrier.I also did my fellowship programs at PGIMER,Chandigardh,India,AIIMS,N Delhi and Cleveland clinic,USA.After that,due to interest in kidney stones and helping poor people suffering from kidney diseases and stones, I joined charity hospital in stone belt area in Saurashtra,Rajkot and served for 5 years and developed many new techniques for kidney stone in endourology and laparoscopy.I organized many workshops,conferences,CMEs and created public awareness programs and activities in that part of world.i have more than 50 research papers presented in various national and international conferences.I started kidney stone epidemiology project in that region to find our cause of stone recurrence and high prevalence in that stone belt region.In spite of medical management kidney stone prevalence is rising world wide.So I though we are missing some link in kidney stone pathogenesis and thats why I thought of doing some basic research work in kidney stone pathogenesis and I came to new york for fellowship.
