A chartered civil engineering professional with over 20 years industry experience. Focused on strategy, project governance and design management. Has a proven record of multi-disciplinary design and management experience gained on major transportation and infrastructure schemes including tunnels, rail, highways, ports, bridges and industrial depots. Principally, I occupy the role of project manager, design manager, engineering manager or design lead as external consultant to clients.Holds a doctorate in Sustainable Infrastructure Systems in Transportation Engineering from the University of Southampton. The research was conducted under the Centre for Doctoral Training as an integrated PhD (iPhD). The study analysed multiple scenarios in order to optimise highway geometry and pavement design standards for Connected Autonomous Vehicle, using whole-life assessments.
