Education Sector Chief @Infragardncr

In collaboration with representatives from the FBI and InfraGard Los Angeles, led peers in creating the Education Sector for the local InfraGard Program. The Education Sector’s mission is to assist schools, colleges and universities throughout Southern California to protect their infrastructures and operations against criminal or terrorist threats or activities. This work includes strengthening school safety assessments, policies, programs and practices to help improve the success of students, parents and staff. For example, assisted to develop InfraGard\'s InfraStructure Liaison Officer\'s training program whose purpose is to recruit, train and support school personnel in creating effective threat assessment and management initiatives. Other initiatives included developing School Terrorism Awareness and Response Exercises, Active Shooter Prevention Trainings for Schools, and trainings on Protective Measures Against Cyber Threats At K-12 Schools. Also, assisted to develop strong collaborations with representatives from local, state and federal education, law enforcement and community organizations.
