Dr. Gurendra Nath Bhardwaj is a distinguished academic leader with more than 25 years of experience in both academia and industry. He earned his PhD from the Department of Applied Economics, Faculty of Commerce, University of Lucknow, in 2003. Over the past 17 years, he has held significant leadership roles, including Controller of Examination and Chief Warden at NIIT University, and Programme Leader at Amity Business School, Noida. In these capacities, he has successfully managed teams of over 100 employees, driving productivity and reducing operational costs through innovative processes and strategic team-building initiatives.Dr. Bhardwaj has made notable contributions to the automation of exam and hostel processes at NIIT University, ensuring real-time data accuracy and efficiency. During the COVID-19 outbreak, he developed a robust online remote examination system, integrating Moodle and training faculty, students, and technical staff in its use. His leadership was pivotal in NIIT University’s NAAC accreditation process in 2023.A prolific researcher, Dr. Bhardwaj has presented or published more than 100 research papers at national and international platforms. He actively mentors craftsmen, artisans, and micro-enterprises under India\'s One District One Product (ODOP) scheme and collaborates with MSMEs and farmers to enhance their socio-economic conditions. His work in rural development and labor economics has informed policy recommendations to state and central governments. Dr. Bhardwaj is committed to fostering innovation, community service, and sustainability, aligning his strategic vision with institutional goals for continuous improvement and success.
