About Gregory

Dr. Gregory Dean Pace\'s biography presents a remarkable journey of leadership, resilience, and continuous learning. Hailing from Mississippi and being a proud United States Army veteran, Dr. Pace retired at the rank of Sergeant Major following 23 years of service, which included four overseas assignments to Japan, Germany, Korea, and the Middle East. His military career included a rise through the leadership ranks, culminating as a Brigade Operations Sergeant Major, and graduation from the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy, Class #59. When he retired from military service, Dr. Pace assumed an active profession as a Regional Program Manager for Quality Management, Knowledge Management, and Process Improvement for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He has excelled in his academics as well, having earned his Doctor of Business Administration with concentration in Management, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, along with certificates in Project Management and Business Analysis. He is also certified as a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Certified Quality Auditor, and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. Dr. Pace\'s leading desire goes beyond the professional experience, as he is an authored publisher of two books on leadership. He describes successful leadership practices in his book \"Lead Follow or Get Out of the Way.\"\"Leading Through the Maze: Navigating 52 Challenges\" is a compendium resource not to be missed with today\'s complexity and rapidly changing world. It generally has a wide perspective on the entire concept of leadership, in the sense that it focuses on how flexible leaders should make sure that they are adaptive and strategic thinkers with emotional intelligence. His personal story is the evidence of positive leadership and the ripple effect that could be made through personal and professional development over the lifespan. Through adversity, including doubt on the very value of higher education in the military, Dr. Pace proves that one\'s dedication to learning and leading could indeed chart great results. His focus on mentoring and leading tomorrow\'s leaders, whether in the military or from his work within the federal government, embodies that good leaders change others. Dr. Pace\'s life and career have been experienced by example, lifelong learning, and commitment to excellence.
