I wish to apply for the position of Assistant Professor in Business Management/ Entrepreneurship. I have the necessary skills and qualifications for this post, as well as the necessary experience. I therefore believe that what I have to offer to university will be of great benefit to the Institute.I earned my Ph.D. from Vikram University Ujjain, India and wrote my thesis on A Study of Facilitators and Barriers to Entrepreneurial Start-ups from last five years in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir States of India. I also did my MPhil from APSU REWA University on dissertation “A Study of Strategic Factors Affecting the Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Jammu & Kashmir”. My current research interests are in the area of Entrepreneurship, SSI developments and Innovation and entrepreneurship behaviour. As you can see, I am highly suited to the post of Assistant Professor at University level.I have some experience in teaching and tutoring students when I worked in the Department of Business Studies, Islamic University of Science and Technology and also Worked as Coordinator of ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL in the same University. I was 7 years there and established a very good working relationship with the staff, as well as with the students and community.I take a friendly approach to teaching, believing that my students are simply equals who have yet to gain the knowledge I can impart to them. I find this approach helps to break traditional “them” and “us” type barriers between students and their tutors. I also feel that the students gain more as a result of using this approach, not to mention the satisfaction that the teacher can also gain. I was highly thought of in my previous post, and I know I can repeat my standard of professionalism as well.
