ABOUT GHEITH ALFAKRI
Gheith Alfakri Seismic Interpreter | Geophysicist I am an innovative geoscientist with extensive experience interpreting hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of 3D seismic data and tens of thousands of line-kilometers of 2D seismic data, primarily within the world’s major salt basins. My strong geological background complements my comprehensive structural and stratigraphic seismic interpretation skills, which I have recently and effectively utilized in horizon generation for the velocity model building phase of depth migration of 2D and 3D marine seismic datasets. I have a proven track record of solving complex geological problems to enhance the accuracy of velocity models and maximize the potential of depth-migrated volumes. With 16 years of experience as a geoscience professional, I take pride in delivering optimal solutions within the allotted time. I am adept at creatively adapting to complex horizon interaction scenarios within the depth processing workflow and providing, managing, and executing interpretation workflows to achieve the best results. I am highly organized and an effective communicator with strong time management skills, a focus on quality control, excellent attention to detail, and proven project management capabilities.
