To develop engaging curricula, to inspire students to pursue many scientific and healthcare careers, bring new technology into the classroom and the incorporation of it in science education, engage disaffected youth, develop laboratory experiments and other scientific investigations that add to the educational learning community of students. Provide presentations and workshops to college students in order to provide assistance in time management skills, how to study science and preparation for the GRE and MCAT. Depending on the needs of the Department, teach an introductory biology course for majors and non-majors as well as develop separate electives for majors. Teach Microbiology for students majoring in the biological sciences. Research: Develop and maintain a productive research program that includes important roles for undergraduates and that leads to publication and external funding. Engage in collaborative investigations with other colleagues in the department. Service: Serve as the advisor of Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honor society as well as advisor to the National Institute of Science. Serve as advisor and mentor to undergraduate students for their program of study and to make other contributions to the University and Department.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
