About Gaurav Kumar Pandey
Gaurav Kumar Pandey (Member, received the B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the AKTU, Lucknow, India, in 2015, and the M.Tech. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, India, in 2018. Dr. Pandey has received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, India. He received the M.Tech. degree in communication engineering from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, Dimapur, India, in 2018. He is currently working as a scientific researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia.Dr. Pandey is a recipient of a GATE Fellowship for pursuing a Ph.D. He received the Best Paper Awards from the SILCON 2023, ANTS 2023, and CICT 2024. He is serving as a reviewer in various journals, including Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, and Communication Letters, and conferences, including the International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC Workshops) and International Students’ Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Sciences. He has published the research works in high-impact-factor and Q1 journals, including Communications Surveys & Tutorials, Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and Internet of Things Journal. His research interests include green communications, UAV communications, physical layer security, simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, and machine learning-based optimization techniques.
