About Freddy Frederick Flanagan
Restoring confidence by restoring smiles. A patient can smile when he or she is confident about their teeth and about themselves. Freddy desires to see lives changed through the confidence that healthy teeth bring and through his pastor’s heart, which blends with his devotion to dentistry. His passion is to provide not only dental treatment but also physical and spiritual care that enriches every area of a patient’s life. His educational background includes the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC); the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB); University of Maryland, College Park (UMD); and Lee University (a private Christian institution). As a pastor at Redemption House Life Center and a dental graduate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, he has honed his teaching skills while caring for and encouraging those in need. These opportunities have allowed him to work as an instructor for the American Red Cross, assist individuals with intellectual disabilities, and counsel many people. On a free summer day, Freddy can usually be found with his wife Roxy, daughter Divinity and son Zion either crabbing, swimming, riding bikes, eating a snowball, traveling, or involved with a church community event. Community events could include anything from food outreaches, to church festivals and meetings, to concession stands at major venues to raise funds for non-profit programs. Additionally, he started a non-profit organization (The Cave, Inc.) which has been a lighthouse for pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults who are lost at sea, tossed by waves of depression, self-hate, guilt, failure, drugs, etc. This ministry allowed him to pinpoint the main objectives of his life and future career while holding true to faith, education, and acts of service.

Instructors teach Red Cross programs within a chapter’s jurisdiction and impart knowledge and skills consistent with American Red Cross policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
