ABOUT FAROUK HAMMAMI

Farouk is an Operations Research Scientist at Air Liquide, where he applies advanced optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and foster innovation. He holds a PhD in Operations and Decision Systems from Laval University in Canada, where he served as a lecturer, contributing to research and academic initiatives. He also earned a diploma in Operations Research awarded by the Canadian Society of Operations Research for completing his studies at Laval University, and he was named to the Dean\'s Honor List of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at Laval University, highlighting his exceptional academic journey. Before joining Air Liquide, Farouk was a postdoctoral researcher at Polytechnique Montreal, focusing on the practical applications of operations research in various industrial sectors. He is also an accomplished author with numerous scientific publications in the field of operations research, significantly contributing to the development of optimization methods and their applications. Farouk obtained his Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Performance from the National Engineering School of Bizerta in Tunisia. He was also the top of his class during his Master\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, focusing on Supply Chain, at Grenoble INP - Industrial Engineering in France.
