About Erika Hendrix
As the President of CMS, a community-based agency providing services to individuals with mental challenges, I have been leading a team of dedicated professionals for over 19 years. Our mission is to empower adults receiving NC Innovation Services through day supports, supported employment, psycho-social rehabilitation, and adult developmental vocational programs. We also serve as a vendor for the NC Division of Vocational Services, training individuals for job skills, placement, and long-term support. In addition to my role at CMS, I am also the host and producer of the \"Let\'s Think About It with Dr. E\" podcast, where I challenge listeners\' intellect and spark thoughtful conversations. I conduct in-depth research and interviews to create engaging content that resonates with a global audience. Furthermore, I have been serving as the Director at Positive Connection Care, Inc for over 15 years, specializing with adults who have developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury. I am passionate about creating a safe and family-oriented atmosphere for our clients. My educational background includes a PhD in Organizational Leadership, a Doctor of Ministry, and a Master of Divinity.
