I am the CEO of New U Psychiatry PLLC, podcast host of Stepping into Soul Power, nurse practitioner (NP)/ physician assistant (PA) supervisor, executive contributor at Brainz magazine and an Expert Witness. As a board-certified psychiatrist, certified practitioner of David Crow’s System of Illuminated Herbalism and intuitive life coach, my primary interests are addressing burnout, helping healers, caregivers, and empaths heal, and bringing wellness and the concept of \"soul\" back to psychiatry. Having completed Sounds True\'s Inner MBA program, I am now dedicated to aiding mental health professionals launch businesses that are founded on supportive relationships and personal growth. The goal is to prioritize culture and values over profits, creating an environment where employees feel happy, healthy and fulfilled - not just benefitting individuals but also the organization as a whole. In my role as supervisor to nurse practitioners and physician assistants, I prioritize helping them become skilled, confident and able to practice psychiatry in line with their unique perspectives. Self-care is always at the top of mind for me, so I\'m sure to advocate for a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. To do this, I strive to move away from the traditional dynamics between mid-levels and physicians assistants towards a more cooperative environment. My expertise as a professional witness lies in Clinical Trials Epidemiology and Psychiatry. By utilizing a systematic, evidence-based approach, I strive to provide quality service that meets the needs of all parties involved. When retained on a case, my goal is to equip legal counsel with reliable information and testimony that facilitates informed decisions. Ultimately, my mission is to be the change that inspires individuals, organizations, and communities to prioritize the wellness of healers and their communities. We can do better, and we will.
