Developed and teach the weekly Foundations of Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) course to first year master’s mental health counseling to an IBH framework that will help facilitate their learning and understanding of this model. Students will learn fundamental principles, clinical skills, and have the opportunity to expand upon their professional identity. Through weekly lab experiences, students will engage in further discussions, practice their skills, and implement their knowledge of IBH.• Teach a weekly section of the general Foundations of Counseling course to introduce mental health counseling to first year master’s students to learn clinical skills relevant to begin practice in the field

ABOUT ELIZABETH LOUIS
Dr. Louis is a Haitian-American psychologist with areas of interest and experience in global mental health research, providing mental health literacy and community based training on mental wellness; clinical work involves trauma, depression, anxiety, career development; worked with marginalized groups in rural and urban areas, working with refugees, asylum seekers, racial and ethnic minorities. Engaged in work in the USA, Haiti and Rwanda. Another area of passion is diversity, equity, and inclusion work as a diversity consultant; racial healing community facilitator, and continues acts of service to underserved communities.
