Along with my remarkable physician assistant, Jennifer Nagel, PA-C, RD, we started the Medical Center for Eating Disorders in November, 2014. Since then we have grown and grown. We have also been doing the medical care for Center for Discovery\'s Residential Eating Disorder Treatment Center in Cypress, TX ( a suburb of Houston) since 2018. We care for anyone of any age with any type of eating disorder. We focus on the medical care and also collaborate with many other clinical specialists (dietitians, therapists, psychiatrists, referral to medical subspecialties), advocates, teacher and coaches, and others. We are advocates ourselves for better understanding by all regarding any and all aspects of care.In addition, I now do a podcast called \"ED On ED\"(my first name is Ed and many call their eating disorder,\"Ed\") and it is a unique perspective on all aspects of EDs. It is with my daughter who is a talent in so many ways herself who suggested the idea and is the host. We do not do any scripted content and discussions ahead of time are only general so that we keep it spontaneous and real. We base each podcast on a clinical situation, topics of interest about EDs, and requests from our listeners. We are on Spotify at \"edonedpodcast\" and on Apple and other podcast hosting sites. Please check it out-e have listeners from all over the world and are excited and grateful to have that reach.
