Provide leadership (up to the VP level) updates on key project / platform initiatives and progress via Stakeholder / Gatekeeper meetings. Scheduled at a regular agreed upon frequency (four to six weeks) or as required, focus is set to update key stakeholders on progress (completed, 30, 60, 90-day), schedules (POAP and.mpp), key issues and risks, key decision touch points, and provide an update to overall budget and financials.• Completing the IT retrofit for the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) Terra Nova as part of the cyber remediation regulatory requirements and ALE (Asset Life Extension) initiative. At a platform level, the initiative is focused on the return to production as part of a ten-year life extension and the elimination of incurred and accumulating technical debt through project activities, small demand, or routine operational scheduled activities. Areas of focus are end-of-life / end-of support network assets, offboarding of physical devices to the cloud, build out of engineering simulation lab environment, design and build out of VSAT and microwave link communications, and optimization of network bandwidth to accommodate limitations with offshore infrastructure.• Under the Connect Infrastructure Platform, work with business and technical stakeholders to proactively upgrade end-of-life / end-of-support hardware (aka evergreening). This included the design, which encompassed proposed solution evaluations via proof-of-concepts and lab testing, vendor engagement and negotiations (via SCM), and implementation. In addition, the project worked with other areas within the platform to ensure alignment with design (maximizing technology capabilities and reducing risk or conflicts) and optimize deployment activities to reduce site touch points and reduce overall costs.
