As an MD in Ayurveda Psychiatry (Manovijñāna evam Mānasa Roga) from the Department of Integrative Medicine at NIMHANS, I stand at the confluence of ancient wisdom and contemporary mental healthcare.My work explores the deep relevance of classical Ayurveda, particularly Sattvavajaya Cikitsā, in addressing modern neuro-psychiatric challenges. With a strong foundation in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), I’m passionate about integrating mind–body healing, psychological resilience, and preventive mental health practices rooted in tradition yet applicable to today’s world.I’ve had the privilege of facilitating clinical care, conducting research, and contributing to academic forums and national symposia bringing visibility to Ayurveda’s role in shaping integrative mental health models.What inspires me most is seeing healing not as an individual journey alone, but as something supported by family, community, and culture. Whether it’s working with clients, co-creating wellness programs, or sharing insights as a speaker, my focus remains on holistic wellbeing that is sustainable, inclusive, and conscious.Open to connecting with fellow seekers, practitioners, and collaborators in the space of Ayurveda, mental health, and wellness.
