About Deepak K
Dr, Deepak Krishnappa did his MBBS from the prestigious Kempegowda Institute of Medical Science, Bangalore in 2010. He subsequently joined JJM Medical College, Davengere for his Masters in Surgery. Here he gained extensive experience in trauma, GI Surgery and laparoscopy. He completed his post-graduation in 2015. He started off his medical career as Senior Registrar, Department of Surgical Oncology at Vydehi institute of Medical Science Bangalore from 2015 to 2016, subsequently he moved on to work in Department of Surgery at Ramaiah Medical College form 2016 to 2018. Dr Deepak developed a keen interest in Urology and joined Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Pune as MCH trainee. This is India’s third private medical college recognised by MCI for 250 seats and also has received an award for “The most promising Medical college” in India, 2019. During his training Deepak gained experience in open, laparoscopic, robotic urology, and endourology. He also got exposure to Kidney transplantation and assisted many successful Transplants. He has gained lot of experience in the management of complex patients as well as open and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy. He also gained experience in vascular access surgery. He has published many presentations and publications.
