ABOUT DAVIDE DALEO
My research focuses on how international commercial arbitration can mitigate country risk,\"fill in\" institutional voids (or provide institutional support), and subsequently promote inward FDI into respective host countries. To carry out this project I have created a unique and novel index that measures the extent of Arbitration Friendliness in a given country (53 countries in total at present). The introduction of international commercial arbitration provides a new perspective to existing international business literature and contribution to legal empirical work.
