About David Lafazia
I’ve spent much of my career working inside complex systems: where good ideas, funding, and execution don’t always line up. Programs get approved > Initiatives launch > Grants are awardedBut the real challenge actually begins _after_ the proposal\'s been written. This is when strategy, accountability, and follow-through have to work together in the real world. Those environments taught me that clarity is often the most valuable resource a team can have (and it\'s in short enough supply). That understanding led me to found Thought Knockout, a strategic advisory firm focused on helping organizations think more clearly about complex initiatives, funded programs, and overall decision-making.The goal is never to add another layer of consulting noise. Instead, Thought Knockout exists to help leaders pressure-test assumptions, sharpen strategy, and move forward with confidence. And honestly? It\'s a direct reflection of how my own brain works. Basically I\'ve taken my own well-practiced approach to problem-solving (by identifying blind spots and testing everything to their extremes) and turned it into a company. Simulate what\'s possible (and examine underlying beliefs) and take the results into the real-world arena.Through Thought Knockout, I work with organizations that are building something meaningful and want to wrap strategic thinking around the decisions shaping their companies, programs, and long-term outcomes. If you\'re leading a complex program, launching something new, or trying to bring clarity to decisions that carry real consequences, we should probably talk.Learn more at thoughtknockout.com—Disclaimer: All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect those of any past or present employer or organization.
