The Director of Adult Recovery Services is a dynamic leadership role at NAMI Metro Suburban responsible for overseeing the Drop-In Center and Living Room Programs. The Drop in Center provides a safe, stigma-free place for participants over the age of 18 who have a mental health diagnosis to socialize and find new recovery skills and tools. The Living Room is a safe place where you can talk with a peer if you are experiencing life’s emotional stresses. The trained peer recovery support specialists use their personal experience to help you find and maintain your recovery. This position combines clinical oversight, team management, program administration, and community outreach to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote recovery and resilience in adults experiencing mental health challenges. Overseeing program sites in Summit, La Grange, and Oak Park -IL.
