Calira\'s software solution enables researchers to seamlessly book equipment and manage their complex experimental workflows. Additionally, labs can now effortlessly track equipment usage to better prioritize resources, plan and schedule routine maintenance, and easily create booking rules to manage their labs/equipment more efficiently. This ultimately saves time and money that can be better spent on life saving research.I have had multiple cross-functional roles and responsibilities bridging commercial and product teams, including commercial strategy, product roadmap development, complex technical communication, client requirements gathering, scientific writing/content creation, solution design, and competitor analysis.Before moving into the Biotech world, I worked in cancer research for seven years in pre-clinical drug discovery and translational development. I worked jointly as a Research Fellow at Queen\'s University Belfast and CV6-therapeutics. Before that, my PhD research investigated targeting enzymes involved in DNA synthesis and repair in triple-negative breast cancer. This research was within Dr Robert Ladner\'s lab.
