ABOUT CORINNE ARENS
As a former classroom teacher, building and district instructional coach, I bring a unique perspective to my newest role as an Assistant Principal in the Blue Springs School District. I specialize in professional development pertaining to literacy leadership and ELA instruction. I have nearly 25 years of experience in supporting teachers and students in achieving academic excellence and fostering a culture of collection, connection and reflection. I am also a co-author of The Essentials of Writing Workshop with Katherine Bomer, a literacy consultant for The Missouri Writing Project, and an adjunct professor at Northwest Missouri State University and University of Central Missouri. I am passionate about exchanging knowledge and expertise with educators and learners across various settings and contexts. My mission is to inspire and empower others to become confident and effective writers, readers, and thinkers.My latest passion project is growing my website, I would love nothing more than for you visit and contribute as we are all better together.
