ABOUT CONSTANTIN VON DER GROEBEN

As Cofounder of DEMECAN, I built Germany\'s leading medical cannabis company from founding stage into a profitable business with over 100 employees and double-digit million revenue. Over the past seven years, I have led the company through multiple growth phases — from securing one of Germany\'s first cannabis cultivation licenses to scaling operations, building corporate structures, and establishing DEMECAN as a trusted name in the industry.Key achievements include leading equity and debt fundraising rounds in the double-digit million range, serving as an invited regulatory expert to the German Bundestag, and actively contributing to legislative processes as a board member in multiple industry associations. I also built DEMECAN\'s corporate communications function and served as a frequent speaker in print, TV, and radio. In the early years, I established and led both the Legal and HR departments.Prior to DEMECAN, I worked as an attorney in Gleiss Lutz\'s Public Sector practice and served as a Policy Advisor at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, focusing on trade and investment policy. I also had the privilege of working as a Personal Assistant to Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.My core expertise lies in founding and scaling companies, fundraising, regulatory strategy, public affairs, stakeholder management, and leadership in regulated markets.I\'m always open to connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and anyone passionate about regulated industries and healthcare innovation.
