ABOUT CHERIE WASHINGTON
I am currently the Chief of Secondary Schools in FWISD where I support 55 schools. I work collaboratively with Directors and Principals to increase student academic achievement and provide instructional and operational supports specific to the needs of individual campuses. I also implement professional development based on trends identified via data points. This is my 24th year in education. I taught for 12 years, served as an AP for 3 years, Middle School principal for 4 years and HS Principal for 3 years. I served 2 years as an Executive Director supervising a feeder pattern of schools in DISD.
