Principal Scientist and Head Accessibility Research- Heading the Accessibility and Inclusive Design Research & Innovation at TCS- With over 30 years of extensive experience, been a key architect and lead consultant in establishing the accessibility practice within TCS- Nominated on the Advisory Board of United Nations WIPO – ABC initiative or Accessible Books Consortium- Besides, the advisory and member of working groups on many national and international bodies like W3C, IDRBT (Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology), Govt of India to formulate Accessibility Standards- Filed fifty-one patents, twenty-eight of which have been granted and also published 23 papers, 7 books and other publications- Passionate about the game of chess and has represented India seven times at the World Chess Championships and Olympiads for the Blind being the first ever outside Europe President of IBCA, world chess federation of blind- Among the many awards received, here are a few mentions, Recipient of National Award for Best Disabled Employee, conferred on, by then President of India Hon.
