ABOUT CHARLES OGDAN

I have spent the last 19 years in education growing my leadership abilities. Personally my experiences as a father and coach have prepared me more for educational leadership than any other endeavor. I started my educational career in 2003 as a teacher at Sycamore High School. Sycamore boasts a very diverse student population and promotes the highest level of educational instruction. My time at SHS was extremely valuable and applicable as I moved into a leadership position at Princeton High School. Princeton is the most comprehensive educational environment in the state. Battelle for Kids stated the only other school district comparable to Princeton is in a suburb of Tulsa! The students, community, staff, and leaders have an immense amount of pride and passion for Vikings! As the Principal of Princeton High School, steward leadership and collaboration allowed the educational team to drop 40% discipline referrals and increase our positive referrals 150%, while maintaining an Advanced Studies program with AP and IB educational pathways. Starting with the 20••••21 school year I will enter my 4th year leading and collaborating as an administrator in the Loveland City School District. My family and I moved here 7 years ago after a 7 year coaching career in track and football. The Ogdan family \"Loves\" Loveland and have immersed ourselves into the community of which we reside. There is a very bright future on the horizon for Loveland City Schools as an already great district pushes to strive for perfection and settle for excellence! Continuing my professional journey, my new chapter has landed me in Mt. Healthy City School District as the Executive Director of Human Resources. Our team is dedicated, focused, and more than ready to collaborate in a progressive and inclusive direction.
