ABOUT BRITTANY BRYANT
Dr. Bryant is a clinical researcher focused on building community-engaged research programs aimed at reducing substance use and improving mental health in Black and historically excluded adolescents. Dr. Bryant intends to use her research to address the criminalization of Black youth using substances in hopes of promoting diversion to substance use and mental health treatment instead of the criminal justice system. Lastly, Dr. Bryant uses her expertise and experience to train clinicians with attention and awareness to positionality, allyship, advocacy, and anti-racism.
