I am a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the field of music management, with a goal to better musicians’ experiences with mental health options in their industry. My research examines the intersection of artist management and mental health in the music industry, focusing on the role of managers in supporting the well-being of the artists they work with. Using a qualitative research approach, my study explores the varying degrees of managerial involvement, the challenges managers face, and the broader industry structures that influence mental health support.
