About Biswajit Das
I completed my Ph.D. from the University of Bordeaux, France while I was working as a research fellow in INRIA, Bordeaux, France. My research topic includes designing automated speech markers for differential diagnosis of subtypes of Parkinsonian disorders. At present, I am working as a Senior speech scientist at Augnito India Pvt. Ltd. My responsibility is to design voice biomarkers for screening mental health disorders. I am also working on improving medical speech recognition.I worked in speech signal processing and noise robust speech recognition in TCS Innovation Lab Mumbai. I have completed my Master of Science (By Research) from the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur). My thesis topic was \"Bengali Speech Recognition System for Aging People\". I am working on a speech recognition problem for the last 14 years. I have worked on HTK, Sphinx, and Kaldi toolkits.
