About Binaya Kumar Pattnaik
With over five years of experience as an assistant professor of environmental science, I am passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders and practitioners. I currently teach at Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research, where I design and deliver courses on EIA, EMS, Wastewater Treatment, Advanced pollution Control Techniques, and Water/Soil/Air Lab Analysis, and supervise student projects and research activities. My domain of research focuses on understanding the contaminant dynamics in the major environmental compartments and developing possible eco-friendly mitigation strategies. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as soil quality, water chemistry, and chromite mining. I am also a certified internal auditor for ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. I am always eager to learn new techniques and tools, and to collaborate with other experts and stakeholders in the field of environmental science.
