Currently working as Director & Head Microbiology,Molecular Diagnostic & Infection Control at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. Along with Co-chairman for Central Infection Control across Max Group of hospitals. An MD in Medical Microbiology from P.G.I.M.E.R, Chandigarh, and had more than 60 publications (more than 50 international) with 19 years of post MD experience. An active member of the infection control team and plays a leading role in developing and implementing infection control and antibiotic policies for Max group of hospitals. Recipient of several prestigious awards for significant contribution towards infection control and patient safety, recently from 6th International Patient Safety Congress (IPSC) 2016 and ABP news award on patient safety 2016. Organizing committee member - ISHAM 2002 & Joint Secretary - ISMM 2020-22, Executive member of CAHACON Diagnostic Div 2021-22. Lead & Technical assessor for NABL and Technical Assessor for NABH entry level India.
