ABOUT AVINASH ANIL NAIR

I am a Respiratory Physician trained at Christian Medical College Vellore, one of India\'s premier quaternary care teaching hospitals. I am an independent consultant with expertise in diagnosing and treating various respiratory diseases. My special areas of interest include Interstitial Lung Disease, Allergy, Asthma, and Smoking Cessation. With six years of experience as a full-time consultant in the Respiratory Medicine department at CMC Vellore, I have been actively engaged in teaching and training undergraduate, postgraduate, and allied health sciences students. I possess advanced skills in performing procedures such as flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, thoracic ultrasound-guided procedures like pleural aspiration and biopsy, medical thoracoscopy, and endobronchial ultrasound. I have passion for medical research and education is evident from my involvement in studies, research trials and publications in both national and international peer reviewed indexed journals. Furthermore, I have presented papers in national and international conferences, receiving numerous awards for my contributions. I am a Cochrane member and author as well. I have a patient-centered approach emphasizes involving patients and their families in informed decision making, fostering a holistic approach to medicine.
