ABOUT AUGUSTA EVANS
I have over two decades of teaching and nearly a decade of teaching as a senior lecturer in the high education sector. I am well-grounded and have up-to-date experience of lecturing at various levels of higher education such as foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have a vast wealth of practice teaching various modules over the last six years for example -business strategy, integrated marketing communication, human resources, marketing, tourism and hospitality, operations and event management, and intercultural management. My role as a lecturer is to ensure that students are fully engaged and develop their critical thinking skills in an ideal learning environment where they can be innovative with their ideas and access the appropriate resources to enable them to achieve their academic and professional goals. My research interest is currently in the use of shock advertisements by destination managers in discouraging tourists’ misbehavior, advertising, and product development. I have currently supervised level 7 students’ dissertations in several universities and colleges.
