About Ashutosh Kedar
Dr. Ashutosh Kedar received his Ph.D. in Electronics Science, M.Tech, in Microwave Electronics, M.Sc. in Physics and B.Sc. in Physics degrees from University of Delhi, India. He has fulfilled his duties as lecturer for three and a half years at Department of Electronic Science (DOES), University of Delhi teaching Microwave courses and as Research Associate, CSIR for six months at University of Delhi. He is working as an electromagnetic engineer since last 21 years.He has contributed towards design & development of Antenna/Antenna Arrays and RF & Microwave systems for various AESA Radars. He has also contributed on Electromagnetic Modelling and analysis of Normal and HTS Microwave Passive Components using MOM technique during his PhD tenure. His interests include CEM, Evolutionary Optimization Techniques and Wide Scanning Active Phased Array Antennas. He has chaired several technical sessions at various conferences. He has authored more than 100 research papers in different peer reviewed National/International Journals and Conferences and has a patent on ‘radiating element for active phased array antennas’ to his credit. He has few book chapters and has authored a book on Sparse Phased Array Antennas: Theory and applications by Artech House to his credit as well. He received several awards related to development of active phased array radars and also received several best paper awards including ICMARS, ATMS18 and WAMS 2022 and WAMS 2024. He received IETE Hari Ramji Toshniwal Award 2023, IETE CDIL 2024 Awards as well and MTTS outstanding volunteer award 2025. He serves on the reviewer board of international journals like TAP and MTT and was listed in AP Top 200 reviewers 2024 and 2025. He is Life Fellow WAMSS, Fellow IETE, senior member LM ACES, Member AMTA. He is an active volunteer of APS, MTTS, AESS and AMTA-India node. He served AP/MTT-S Jt Chapter Bangalore in various capacities as Secretary, Vice Chair and currently serving as Chair. He served as committee member for Flagship editions of MAPCON 2022, SPACE 2024, Connect 2025 and Convenor MAPCON 2025. Serving as MAPCON ExCom member and Chair MTTS India Business Committee 2026
