Established a Capacity Command Logistics Center (CCLC), a large multi-disciplinary team (500+FTEs) responsible for managing access, throughput and capacity at a 766-bed academic medical center and facilitating over transfers annually into and within a health system. The accountable leader tasked with creating the vision for this center and responsible for developing deep knowledge and expertise, creating the business plan, project plan, development new positions, recruitment, education and onboarding, workflow development, Epic build, and created a state-of-the-art space. CCLC operations include bed management, transfer center, internal transport, EVS & PSA, EMS dispatch, operations/nursing supervision, and clinical expediting. We ensure the right care, at the right time, in the right location, with the right services, for every patient in their acute care journey. Lead various clinical hospital operations projects to improve length of stay: Discharge Optimization, LOS campaign, MRI, Echo, Mobility initiatives, MyChart Bedside, procedural optimization, IP to OP movement, reimagining our inpatient units and establishment of an acute care tele consult service. Responsible operations leader to create hospital budget. Established & lead Capacity Management Committee. Key stakeholder in tier plan development to support surge and throughput challenges. Oversee Decedent Management: monitoring and managing morgue capacity, serving as liaison between clinical teams, morgue, funeral homes, CDT, and families to facilitate efficient and compassionate care up to and through the end of life. Key member of service line development. Oversee Discharge Hospitality Suite. Involved in space renovation efforts and maintaining facilities. Oversee facilitation acute tele-consult service for department of corrections facilities across NYS. Lead a value-based enterprise initiative. Key member in emergency management and incident command. Experience with leading during crisis.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare operations and emergency medicine, I currently serve as the Chief Logistics Officer at Albany Medical Center within the Albany Med Health System.
