The pandemic made me realise how difficult it is to access Quality healthcare and Medical services in our country, especially for busy individuals and families with limited transport resources. It might seem very small, but it is a significant issue for more than 2/3rd of our population. Many people in our country neglect their health by delaying or not getting their medical tests done due to the lack of awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups. As a doctor with 10+ years of experience and the director of Unity Group of Multispecialty Hospitals, I am familiar with the risk it poses for one’s health when people delay such imperative health tests. Then last year, even more, due to the pandemic, the prevailing unorganised diagnostic testing system made me think of a way to contribute my bit toward fixing the most significant issues in the diagnostic market. Then I initiated working on the idea of PhleboIndia, a start-up aiming to provide FREE HOME Sample Collection services of Lab tests samples from any location to the patients’ preferred lab within 60 minutes. Since then, I started to work on this idea to contribute to the advancement of the healthcare sector in India. We are currently operating in Vadodara, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore and Bhopal. We are planning to expand to 25+ cities in the next 6 months. I love discussing healthcare, start-ups and life in general with like-minded individuals.
