ABOUT ANTHONIA ALEBIOSU

Diligence, resilience and simplicity are the easiest way to describe Anthonia Opeyemi Alebiosu. Anthonia is an accounting and taxation expert, with a passion for helping young professional in achieving excellence and finding their purpose in life. She is experienced in audit, tax, assurance, advisory services, and academia. She has worked on various projects in the private and public sector space. She is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN) with over 18 years experience. She graduated from the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state and holds a Masters of Science (MSc) in Finance from the University of Lagos. She also holds both a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) and a Doctorate in Accounting from the Babcock University Ilishan Remo, Ogun State. She has practical experience on taxation issues for small scale, medium scale and listed companies (publicly quoted). Anthonia is known for her leadership, team-building, and analytical skills, as well as her dedication to service, having served on multiple ICAN and CITN committees and received several awards for her contributions. She is deeply committed to mentoring youths towards academic and career excellence, aligning her efforts with Sustainable Development Goals on education, gender equality and empowerment. She has participated in different accounting conferences in Australia, Italy, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India among others. These earned her conference veteran award in 2019.
