I work in the area of customer analytical/application support. Solving the issues of our customers in the water and paper/pulp industry is my main task. Our water and paper/pulp industrial customers face several challenges in their business, like membrane fouling, deposit and scale issues in various parts of paper machine, paper having defects in them, blocked felt etc. I perform autopsy on the RO/NF/UF membrane to analyze the contamination/defect using various techniques (FTIR, Pyro-GCMS, TGA, SEM-EDS, microscope etc.) to identify the contaminant nature (Inorganic, Organic, Microbiological). Together with the analysis report, I give the final conclusion and my recommendation to avoid the contamination issue. I also do product quality analysis, barrier coating analysis and RO membrane autopsy. Customer satisfaction is the top priority.I also help our R&D team with sustainable barrier coating development and coating analysis.
