ABOUT ANGELA SILER-MOORE
As a Clinical Quality Nurse Specialist at Cone Health, I have over 30 years of experience ensuring quality care for patients with cardiac and urology conditions. My nursing career began in bedside care, where I provided direct patient care and developed a deep understanding of clinical practice. While I have transitioned into education, leadership, and quality improvement, I continue to practice as a bedside RN, ensuring that I stay connected to direct patient care and the evolving needs of frontline nursing.I specialize in abstracting and analyzing data from various sources to meet the regulatory and professional standards of The Joint Commission and CMS. Additionally, I collaborate with system analysts and quality team members to track and report data outcomes, ensuring continuous quality improvement and compliance with healthcare regulations.Beyond my expertise as a bedside nurse and in quality improvement, I have a strong background in clinical education and leadership. I hold a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a concentration in Educational Leadership, a Master of Science in Nursing Education, and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration. Additionally, I am a Cardiac and Urology Practice Registered Nurse and a Specialty Practice Registered Nurse.
