Experienced Composite and Aerospace Engineer having worked in both Academia and Industrial sectors. Main area of expertise is in thermoplastic composites after conducting a PhD at the University of Birmingham. Particular interest in advanced composite design, polymer structure, manufacturing and sustainability. Have extensive experience in research and polymer characterisation using equipment such as DSC, Flash DSC, FTIR, SEM, and TGA, further experience in composite manufacturing techniques such as compression and induction molding, injection molding, AFP and overmoulding.
