I led the School to develop a new Strategic Plan in my first year and have been implementing the Plan since the spring of 2021. The school has achieved remarkable results in several areas, including a better-articulated brand, improved rankings & recognitions, increased fundraising, and deeper engagements and connections with alumni, external partners, and communities. By working with my teams, I have enhanced our educational model by focusing on our leadership in Immersive Education. Some of the exemplary programs include an innovative business foundation curriculum, an eye-tracking X-Lab for education and research, Suffolk-in-the-Hub student-run Marketing Agency, the 2nd student-managed investment fund – Tremont Fund, Suffolk Consulting Clinic, and a multi-year partnership with the Boston Celtics to support a new interdisciplinary Sports Management program. Based on this incredible foundation, we are now developing the next strategic plan.Our efforts have resulted in multiple external recognitions and awards. In 2022, we received the Governor’s Citation to recognize our commitment to engaging students to participate in service-learning activities with MA nonprofit organizations. In 2023, we received the “Inspiring Business Programs Award” from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education. In 2024, we received the \"Recognition for Achievement\" Award from the 2024 Eduventures Innovation Awards Program for our innovative IMMERSE Blueprint course design approach to address the gap between the traditional business school curricula and the practical demands for student involvement, employability, and positive community impact. In 2025, our partnership with the Boston Celtics was recognized in April by the AACSB Innovations that Inspire Program, and we are one of the four recipients of the Eduventures Innovation Award for our \"AI Forward Business Curriculum\" initiative in June.
