About Alfredo Hoyos
Dr. Alfredo Hoyos is a board-certified plastic surgeon from Bogotá, Colombia. He earned his medical degree at El Rosario University and performed his residency in plastic surgery at the Rosario - Saint Joseph Hospital in Bogotá, Colombia.Dr. Hoyos is the inventor of High Definition Liposculpture (HDL), Dynamic Definition Lipoplasty (4D), and other advanced techniques in body contouring. In combination with cutting edge technology such as VASER, he also designed the VASER Hi Definition Lipoplasty (VHD) procedure. VHD is an aesthetic liposuction refinement that introduced a blending of superficial, intermediate, and deep fat extraction combined with fat grafting. It utilized VASER technology to produce high muscle definition in both men and women. Dr. Hoyos and his associates have performed more than VHD procedures with predictable, consistent and safe results. Dr. Hoyos continues to refine these techniques while developing new applications of HD to additional anatomical regions. He also continues to develop new technologies in the aesthetic surgery field.
