ABOUT ALCIDE PSY. D

I have a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. However, I have more experience working in the clinical psychology field than in counseling. I presented at many conferences, including the New Jersey Counseling Association and the International Child Psychology & Adolescent Medicine conference on \"Person-Centered Therapy with siblings of children with cancer\" in London, as well as \"Person-Centered Therapy with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking\" at the Person-Centered Experiential conference at Columbia University. My therapy orientation relates mainly to a combination of Psychodynamic/psychotherapy and Existential/ Gestalt, although I use different styles based on clients\' presenting problems. I also have experience in providing psychoeducation on Post-partum Depression and Health Psychology. I graduated from Kean University in 2012 with a BA in Clinical Psychology and Broadcast Journalism cum laude.
