I completed my MBBS and MD from Sri Siddhartha Medical College in Tumkur, Karnataka and currently working as a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Hospital and a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist in Bangalore. My areas of expertise include : Depression, Anxiety, Substance use, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and many more. I have won many prestigious awards including a “Best PG paper” award in KANCIPS-2015 (Shimoga) winner of BLITZ presentation in IPSOCON-2018 (Madurai) and have authored numerous scientific publications in reputed national and international journals.I’m a voracious reader and can boast of a large collection of both fiction and non-fiction books in my quaint little personal library. I’m also a connoisseur of good food and enjoy traveling in my spare time. I have also given many Television programs and general public awareness programs regarding mental health.
