Honoured at Rashtrapati Bhavan – A Milestone for Indian Athletics On 20th December 2023, I had the privilege of being felicitated by the Hon’ble President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, alongside medal-winning athletes from the 2023 World University Games.This recognition is more than a personal milestone — it’s a celebration of Indian athletics on the global stage. In Chengdu, China, history was made when my athlete Bhavani Yadav Bhagavathi became the first Indian long jumper to win a medal at the World University Athletics Championship.With over 25 years of coaching experience and 25 athletes winning 27 international medals under my mentorship, moments like this reaffirm why passion, perseverance, and athlete-centered coaching matter.Grateful to all my athletes — from Nayana James to Bhavani Yadav, S.S.
