Thanks for your time here To put it simply, I haven’t yet figured out whether that accident/astronomical situation was good/bad for me. But, Thanks to my courage! I just got back to where I was after 85 days of extensive rehab. As a post graduate in prosthodontics, I readily knew it takes an extra-ordinary mindset for me to get through the graduation as an above knee amputee and to get through that will be one of my favourite achievements because I didn’t breakdown in the most vulnerable situation, initial days! As a kid, I was always intuitive, extremely passionate and stubborn. That means I just have to think and believe! rest will be done with time. As a prosthodontist & an above knee amputee, I am extremely happy with what I am able to do over a period of time in these 4 years, being able to adapt to various terrains and situations together is the challenge anyways! Listen & Learn and at the same time ignore what’s not required has been the major learning for now. I also got an opportunity to serve as a Medical officer & Home Isolation nodal officer during 1st & 2nd wave of Covid pandemic for Rajajinagar in Bangalore, India where I could deliver Home Isolation kits to more than 800 houses, those who needed the care at the most! My team did a commendable job the entire 7 months I was on that assignment. Extremely satisfied beyond words for this service. Hoping for greater things to happen soon
