Dr. Ajay Angirish, is presently associated with Apollo Hospitals Ltd as Chief Operating Officer - International Operations & Projects With over 20 plus years of well rounded experience, has a proven track record of setting up Healthcare Systems, processes and start-up projects. He has hands on experience in setting up many Super Speciality Hospitals from concept to commissioning. Experience of Retail & Daycare concept in Healthcare Industry. A dentist by qualification, Dr. Angirish also holds post graduate degrees from IIHMR –IGNOU & IIM. Handling multi location hospital clusters and leading large teams of managers in Operations, business development, strategy & planning and people relations are some of his core strengths. Brief Job Profile of his : At Apollo : International Operations & projects Globally, also an added overall responsibility of Apollo Clinics at Chennai region. Strengthened the Ahmedabad Hospital, established drainage from neighbouring states like Rajasthan, MP & Maharashtra & associated clinics of that region. At SevenHills : Was responsible for all the SOPs for Operations, Recruitment of Drs & other staff and commissioning of 1500 bed hospital. At Wockhardt : Started as Centre Head of 110 Beds Cardiac hospital at Surat, was a part of corporate team to overview the Operations and BD for Gujarat, Goa based hospitals. With Karnavati Medical & Educational Trust, he was operating 100 seat Dental College and associated General Hospital. This project he took from concept design to commissioning and operations. Dr. Angirish is also the proud recipient of many awards and recognitions including the Rashtriya Ratan Award 2003, for his contribution to exclusive community health services.
