ABOUT AFSHAN SAMANI

I am an entrepreneur and a product and technology executive with more than 16 years of experience, 10 years in leadership and executive positions. Over 18 years leading, developing and growing products and teams in e-commerce, AI, Social Media, e-commerce logistics, SaaS, inventory / warehousing and social commerce.Having the chance to live and work in 10 different cities in 5 countries Canada, Germany, Sweden, Iran and UAE brought me the opportunity to develop and deliver products for various cultures and markets.I had the honour to work next to strong leaders in Zalando, Klarna, Rocket Internet, SSENSE and many more. It brought me the privilege to build strong cross functional multi national teams delivering excellent impact on our customers across the world.The passion and desire to impact and change made me a serial entrepreneur within the areas of social community, Logistics, SaaS, AI and e-commerce enablement leading to successful rounds of investment from Seed funding to Series A investment. As a leader, I establish the vision, search for talented people who seek to positively change people life and support them in all capacity I have to deliver on that vision. Having a PhD in Computer Engineering led my way into technology and development and the unstoppable desire for driving impact made me a product manager and later on an entrepreneur. This allows me to have a 360 view on various aspects of a business while building teams, companies and products.
